more of a 1st person/3rd person shooter, really.
fantastic game, though.
if so...would you say it's an RPG? I'm curious as to what it would be classified as.
ahh..see, I've not played much of it, but my boyfriend is addicted to the Xbox version of it. I'm no game expert by far, but it looked an awful lot like an RPG, which I play lots of, but he can't stand.
I dig the RPG stuff as well, so I think you'd probably enjoy Outcast/Academy.
plus if you get the PC versions, there are gazillions of mods you can download. I usually play as Spiderman. with a lightsaber. heehee!!!
or Mr.T.

its kinda 50/50 rpg-shooter. i didnt dig it, cause i dont have the patience for rpg. i like easy games.
I found Academy to be much easier than Outcast. lot shorter too.
although the ease of the game may be due to me playing Outcast for 20 hours a day, for a year, before Academy came out.
I did like outcast better as well, but found that Academy is decent enough. I do like how you are able to select the missions that you wish to take to build your force powers and be the type of Jedi you want.
It is shorter, and there is far more story involved, but if you look at it as pplaying all the variations you can, then it is a much longer game.
Start the game and save after you get to the Academy. Then take once where you go for the good Jedi Powers. Next time go for the Dark Jedi powers. Once you have to replace your saber, try single, dual, and double, then when you decide to go to the dark side or not, choose good, then next time evil. Whole different style of opponents when you do that.
